Yesterday marked the last wedding and physical client work I’ll be doing for the rest of 2023! 🤯 that still feels so bizarre to say as we continue full steam ahead through the rest of wedding season thanks to my team!

I’m feeling all the feels as I officially transition into motherhood sometime in the next month:

✨I’m going to miss the amazing people I work with. They make the early mornings on wedding days, late nights at the studios for trials, and everything in between more fun.

✨I’m SO grateful to all the clients that have been so understanding and accommodating this year when I’ve had to take breaks through the pain. It always worked out because we build in a buffer of time anyway, but it was such a switch for me to not just keep going back to back with no breaks during the hustle and bustle of a wedding day.

✨I’m feeling such a weird combination of SO ready to be done being pregnant because physically it’s taken A LOT out of me, while at the same time I already feel like I’ll miss keeping lil man safe and snug inside. 🥹

It’s not like this is a forever goodbye by any means, but it’s the longest hiatus I’ve ever taken from physical client work (aside from the beginning of the pandemic when we were shut down for 3.5 months).

I’ll still be in my inbox everyday (except the usual Mondays 😉) during October until I go into labor making sure everything is running smoothly. Once baby joins us earth side, I’ll be taking a full break for a couple weeks to acclimate to this new life. Then for the rest of my maternity leave, I plan to be in my inbox once per week to keep afloat while still being as present as possible during this fleeting time.
