Meet Lauren: Owner & Makeup Artist

My name is Lauren Simpson and I’m the owner of LA Page Makeup. I’ve been providing makeup services to CT and New England since 2010 and have found nothing lights up my world more than serving clients and giving them the confidence to shine!

I am a dog love, cheese is my kryptonite, and Netflix is seriously the best way to chill.

I have earned my beauty and theatrical makeup certificates, as well as certificates in lash lifting and tinting, brow lamination, and more. I also hold an esthetician’s license to be able to continue to perform makeup services in CT as of 2020. Continued education is so important to me!

My favorite part of doing makeup is the look of awe my clients get when they look in the mirror. If I can help give you the confidence and self-love to shine, I’ve done my job right!

Meet Kate: Makeup Artist

My name is Kate and I have been doing makeup professionally for over a year. Growing up as a dancer, my interest in makeup started at a young age. In 2022, I completed a makeup artist certificate at the International Institute of Cosmetology in Plainville, CT. Since then, I have taken two master classes to continue to hone my skills and style.

Meet Tegan: Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist

Hi there! My name is Tegan and I wear many hats, but “freelance hair and makeup artist” is one of my favorites!

I’ve been doing bridal hair (and many other special occasions) for nearly 20 years. I love the artistry of hair design and making hair dreams come true. We women are so hard on ourselves, and it’s my favorite thing to take the time to make someone feel really special and incredibly beautiful.

Meet Shainna: Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist

Hi, I’m Shainna and I’ve been a licensed hair and makeup artist for almost 10 years! A year before graduating from Wilcox Tech in 2015, I joined a salon where I furthered my makeup skills and did education with Jane Iredale. This inspired me to jump into the bridal industry shortly after, and I’ve never looked back!

I absolutely love making new connections and helping people embrace their features to give that extra boost of confidence!

In my free time you can find me at music shows or on a mountain with my friends and all of our dogs!

Meet Adrienne: Makeup Artist

Adrienne has been a makeup artist since 2010, specializing in bridal makeup, but also adept at photography and film makeup. She excels at “soft glam” styles, and considers herself an eyebrow and winged liner pro. Clients love her extensive knowledge and skill, her sense of humor, her speed, and her dedication to making sure everyone who sits in her chair LOVES their makeup. She is also a licensed lash technician, singer/musical theater performer, Reiki master, big ol’ nerd, and connoisseur of black clothing. Adrienne lives in Ellington with her husband Chris, sons Cillian and Ronan, and daughter Meryl.

Meet Sara: Makeup Artist

Hi, I’m Sara! My interest in makeup was evident early on – I first experimented with colors while poking around in my mother’s cosmetics. I began taking makeup artistry seriously as a career in 2011, when I completed my certificate in makeup artistry.

I’ve kept busy in the beauty world working behind the camera, teaching, and crafting the perfect look for my clients. I have represented such brands as Urban Decay, Tarte, Hourglass, and L’Occitane, and have attended numerous workshops and seminars to continue my makeup education. I also to taught the makeup course at a local cosmetology school where I instructed budding makeup artists in proper technique.

In addition to developing a lipstick with Three Custom Color Specialists and The Powder Group to benefit the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, I was honored to be assisting with the Look Good, Feel Better program, where I taught makeup classes to women who were undergoing cancer treatments. And since then I have become a licensed esthetician in Connecticut in 2020.

Through makeup, I aim to help others feel beautiful inside and out. I love knowing that by accentuating someone’s outer beauty, I can help to bring out the confidence within them!

Meet Jessica: Hair Stylist

My name is Jessica and I have been a hair stylist for about 17 years! I work in a salon as well as travel for special events. Being able to create a style or look for someone’s special day brings great joy to me! I love to make people feel just as amazing on the inside as well as the outside! My free time is spent with my two children and husband. My other passions are yoga, hiking and being outside.

Hello! My name is Chanice. I have been stylist for 12 years and have owned my salon for the last 4 years. I really enjoy making my clients feel reborn from the inside out and seeing them light up after getting their hair done with me. This industry has taught me so much about how self care is so important and can be therapeutic. I hope to style you one day, Queen!

Meet Vanessa: Makeup Artist

I have loved makeup ever since I was a little girl, thanks to my mom! I can remember sitting at the kitchen table and watching my mother in awe as she created the most glamorous looks on her beautiful face. This was all it took to know what I wanted to do when I grew up.

I have been working in the beauty industry for almost two decades now, and my passion for it continues to grow. For me, it is all more than just makeup. It is a connection to new people and reconnection with old friends on some of the most special days of their lives, and I am always thrilled to be a part of it.

I love skin care just as much as I love makeup because I believe that your makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath it. When I am not working with beauty clients, I am teaching yoga, hiking, meditating, eating yummy vegan food (especially sweets!) and spending time with my little Frenchie, Norman. It would be my pleasure to work with you and make you feel beautiful inside and out!

Hi! My name is Alicia and I entered the beauty industry over 12 years ago.

Something I truly believe in is you can never stop learning; education in any industry can only help you expand and grow.

I have traveled throughout Connecticut and more styling brides on their special day. Being part of something so special is where my passion drives from. To make someone feel beautiful is truly a gift and there is no greater reward than a happy client.

Aside from my work, my husband, daughter, and “dood” [golden doodle dog] Penny are my whole world!

I built my clientele through social media and building relationships with salon owners I would freelance with. I started my beauty retail career 6 years ago after I left a career with the post office to be in the beauty industry full time. I’ve been working in the industry and doing makeup full time ever since.
