Find yourself working from home? Same here! Something that has kept me in a routine is starting and ending each day with my skincare routine, just like any other day. Let’s talk about what you can do to keep your skin happy when your favorite esthetician isn’t available for facials!

Find yourself working from home? Same here! Here's some tips to create a skincare routine that works for you while you work from home!

The most important two steps everyone must be doing is cleansing and moisturizing twice a day! If I’m exhausted and don’t have it in me to do my complete skincare routine, this is the bare minimum I’ll make sure to complete. Doing so cleanses the skin of any environmental pollutants, oils, dirt, and makeup that have built up throughout the day (or yes, night!) and prevent pre-mature aging.

My two favorite cleansers include the Sonia Roselli Beauty Japanese Cleansing Oil and the Derma-E Purifying Gel Cleanser. They make my skin feel super clean without stripping my face of it’s natural oils. The Sonia Roselli Beauty Japanese Cleansing Oil is great for cleansing pores of dirt, excess oils, makeup, and environmental pollution without stripping skin of it's natural oils. The Derma-E Purifying Gel Cleanser is great for cleansing pores of dirt, excess oils, makeup, and environmental pollution.

My favorite morning moisturizer is the La Roche-Posay Anthelios SX, which includes SPF 15. Side note: everyone should be using SPF every single day! My favorite night moisturizer is the Sonia Roselli Beauty Water Balm. This makes my skin feel super hydrated without feeling heavy, sticky, or oily. It’s also great for all skin types which!

Now that you’ve nailed down your daily routine to keep your skin clean and hydrated, let’s talk about those in-home spa nights! I love giving myself a little at at-home facial to give my skin a little boost!

To do this, plan to exfoliate and mask 1-2 times weekly. You don’t want to overdo it. Over-exfoliating can damage your skin and leave it feeling raw, while exfoliating the correct amount can enhance how your current skincare works for you as well as leave your skin feeling extra smooth. After you finish this post, I suggest checking out “The Importance of Exfoliating” to learn more!

My favorite exfoliators include the Sonia Roselli Beauty “Sex-A-Peel” Instant Exfoliation Spray and the Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask.

The Sonia Roselli Beauty Sex-A-Peel Instant Exfoliation Spray is the perfect addition to your skincare routine for removing dead skin cells, leaving skin ready to receive the rest of your products and super smooth.

Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask is the perfect addition to your skincare routine for removing dead skin cells, leaving skin ready to receive the rest of your products and super smooth.

Exfoliate your skin first, then apply your favorite mask to get the most out of that product! Personally, I’m a big fan of charcoal and clay masks, but someone else might prefer hydrating or sheet masks, which is totally cool! My favorite masks include the Vichy Mineral Pore Purifying Clay Mask and GlamGlow Charcoal Instant Treatment Mask. These soak up any excess oils, get rid of blackheads and acne, and make your skin feel tight and smooth!

*Remember to cleanse your skin prior to exfoliating and masking, as well as moisturize right after to lock in that added hydration!

Now if you’re feeling froggy, you can definitely add even more amazing products to your skincare routine, including serum, eye cream, and toner. But I won’t overwhelm you with all that just yet – that’s a little more advanced! For now, focus on keeping your skin clean and supple while you crush this work from home thing. You got this!!
