Romantic Wedding at Saint Clement's Castle | Portland, CT

Emily & Pio’s romantic wedding at Saint Clement’s Castle in Portland, CT was one to remember! The clouds formed that day to make way for the most beautiful photos as excitement was in the air. Emily later became a 1-on-1 makeup lesson client of mine the following year, which truly touches my heart because it’s not everyday I get to work with a past bride as a returning client and it’s always so much fun!

On a personal note, I was 8 months pregnant and getting ready to wrap up working with clients only a couple weeks after this wedding took place. It’s so touching to be able to look back at that time in my life before my favorite little dude joined us. I absolutely love when my personal and professional life marry together (no pun intended) in the most beautiful way.

Lauren is SO organized, and the whole process from my bridal trial through the wedding morning was incredibly smooth. She is super professional, friendly, and personable! We had a really long day (makeup started at 6 and the reception ended after midnight) and it still looked great at the end of the night.
