Another year down, another time to reflect on all that took place in this amazing business and life of mine! Grateful for another year of epic weddings, fun experiences, and bucket list items checked off.
I was featured on FOX 61 for a Halloween Makeup segment. Being on the news has always been a bucket list item of mine, so when I was contacted about working with Brendan Mackey and Symphonie Privett on a fun Halloween segment, I was all about it! Not only is Halloween makeup a fun outlet for me at the end of wedding season, but this also fulfilled that bucket list item of mine and it was the absolute best experience! A win-win.

I continued to learn how to balance motherhood with business. With my son turning 2 this past October, this has been quite the feat. I’m fortunate enough to be able to raise him full time during the weekdays while my husband works and work with clients and on projects in the evenings and on the weekends. It’s not for the faint of heart, as this involves a ton of juggling and being on almost always. But this is exactly what I built this business for in my 20s, was so I could be a present mother in my 30s, while still doing what I love for work – just not 24/7 like when you first build a business from the ground up.

We did more brand photoshoot hair and makeup. I’ve always loved working with other business owners and creatives when they come in for hair and makeup prior to their brand photoshoot. A brand photoshoot is when business owners get photos done to use on social media and in marketing where they look and feel their best. I’ve had them done several times myself and it really elevates your brand. It’s fun to connect with other like-minded women in business when I’m used to working with clients who don’t own their own business when it comes to weddings.
Take a look at our past reflection posts to see the beautiful progression of this business!
