How To Do Your Makeup In 5 Minutes – sounds crazy, right?! Wrong!
Hey guys! My name is Lauren and I am the owner and operator of LA Page Makeup located in Meriden, CT. I offer my clients makeup applications including bridal, date night, lessons, and more, as well as lash lift and tints, facial waxing and eyebrow tinting.
I teamed up with Alexandra Beauregard from The Productivity Zone to create a three part blog series on how to get your makeup on FAST so you can tackle the more important stuff in your day!
If you know Alex, you know she’s BIG on getting ready in the morning, especially when you work from home – even if that means throwing on two pieces of makeup, sweats, and a ponytail. When Alex expressed how she’s always wanted to teach her fellow awesome female entrepreneurs how to put their faces on in just a few minutes, I was all in! This is my kind of stuff, since I’m constantly getting myself ready in mere minutes on the daily, not to mention having to move quickly from client to client during a real-life wedding morning.
Today’s post is a continuation from the post, “How To Do Your Makeup in 2 Minutes”. We’re bumping it up a notch and learning how to do your makeup in 5 minutes! This will include a few more products and steps while still remaining simple and quick. Check out the video below to see an in-depth video tutorial explaining the process!

Here are the real, raw before and after pictures. Absolutely no facetuning, photoshopping, filtering, or editing of any kind. It’s important you see the real kind of results you can get:
Notice how I have a more even complexion with less redness than in the 2 minute makeup tutorial. This is due to doubling up – using both foundation and concealer. My brows still aren’t as perfectly shaped and clean as they could be, but I wanted to focus the extra time on perfecting my complexion. This is a good mid-way point. We have more flawless skin while still looking extremely natural and not overdone. This is a better look if you’re someone who struggles with acne, scarring, super dark under-eye circles, or hyper-pigmentation. This will leave you feeling confident to run your errands while still feeling like you aren’t over-done and caked on.
I hope this helps you feel just a little more productive and comfortable in your own skin!
